I have created this page for my daughter Stephanie. Stephanie has been living with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia since 2010. This illness is usually treatable and with medication people can live long and fulfilling lives. However Stephanie has gone through several medications that have all had different seriously negative side effects. Her last option for treatment is a bone marrow transplant. This is going to be tough on Stephanie emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially. Stephanie is a hard worker who has spent these last years working so that she could support her family, give her children opportunities she has never had, and to pay for her medical expenses. Undergoing a transplant will require Stephanie to be hospitalized for a minimum of 1 month, but she could potentially be hospitalized for 6 months. Once she is home she will still need around the clock care, but she is willing to go through all of this if it means it will lengthen the time she has here with her children. She is a single mother to a 14 year old boy Francisco and 10 year old daughter Victoria. She loves her children more than life itself. Stephanie is an actively involved parent. Her son plays baseball and will be entering his first year of high school. Victoria is her little princess who has a huge heart just like her mom. Stephanie is very caring and giving and has never asked for special treatment because of her illness. She is not the type of person to ask for help, but instead thinks of how she can be a blessing to others. In this time I ask for financial support for her and her family. Stephanie will be unable to pay her mortgage or basic housing costs. Her medical bills are numerous. In this time I want my daughter to focus on her health and nothing else. She will be fighting to be able to see her children grow up to be the wonderful adults she has raised them to be, and worrying about how she is going to pay for medical bills would only be an unnecessary struggle. Any pain I can possibly keep my daughter from would mean the world to me especially in this time of her life. Any support that can be donated would be greatly appreciated.
