Tamera Steele's Medical Expenses

My name is Twyla Thomas and I have never ever considered starting a "Go Fund Me" account until now. My sister, Tamera Steele, suffered from a major seizure while she was at work on March 7th which left her unable to speak or walk at that time. After a few days, she regained her speech but still experiences slurred speech from time to time and still can't walk without assistance.

Tammy was transferred to Brooke Army Medical Center where she had to undergo surgery. After surgery, she was placed in Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital to undergo physical therapy. It was definitely a slow and hard process. She continued to suffer from severe neck, back, and leg pain, but was hopeful that through rehabilitation she would be able to walk normally and return back to work within a few weeks. Unfortunately, this was not the case. She remained for over a month and was prematurely released from Warm Springs on April 22nd due to her doctor moving out of town.

It is a daily struggle just to get up to bathe or do little things around the house. She is not allowed to drive and has to get around usig a walker. Tammy was denied disability and has no income coming in since she has not been able to return to work. As of the 28th of this month, she is scheduled to be terminated from her job if she is not able to return because her FMLA absence will run out. 

Tammy has four children and has no way of supporting her family at this time. Therefore, I'm starting this Go Fund Me account so that Tammy will be able to cover her medical expenses, put food on the table for her family, and keep her electricity and water running.
