Epilepsy Seizure Service Dog
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Blake. I've had epilepsy for a large portion of my life. They are grand mal seizures, and no medicine has helped so far. I've tried plenty of them over the years, and I can't get anything to work. Multiple EEGs and MRIs have been done, but still nothing has been found.
My pap, who passed away a couple of years ago, went into the Navy, and I thought doing the same would be a good thing to do. I quickly found out that I was not allowed to be taking medicine and had to wait years after not having one and not being on medication. This all sounds desperate, but knowing there's been nothing to help me makes me feel scared being at work. I also have had them at work, and that makes me feel horrible for the people around me too.
Having so many life goals taken away is horrible for any one of us. Having a little support in the process is amazing for any person. Feeling safe with a service dog would help so many people, but my situation with funds couldn't provide that. I hope one day I can come back on here to help someone else who would need this type of support too.
Thank you for listening!
