Thank you for taking the time to read my story. This is for my dad. He has fought through alot over the past year. From  a ruptured appendix, to an anneurysm to a stubborn case of Bell's Palsy that just wouldn't go away.  For the last five months half of his face has been paralyzed. He can't eat, talk, or sleep normally. He's stayed as positive as one can be. He's done what the doctor's have told him-"Remain patient. It will go away."  An MRI was performed and nothing alarming showed up. In the meantime, he is scheduled to get a small gold weight sewn into his eyelid so he can actually close his eye.  None of this has been easy for him or his loved ones.  
Another MRI was performed and what was found was a brain tumor. A tumor that grew for 5 months while waiting for the "Bell's Palsy" to clear itself up. Apparently the doctor didn't "catch" the tumor the first time.  The location of this tumor is in a bad spot for biopsy or surgery for that matter.  He is currently waiting for word of when his biopsy can be performed. The biopsy itself is life threatening. 

My dad has been there for me through thick and thin. He's stayed up until all hours of the night, talking me off emotional ledges. He's taught me to persevere through things that seem impossible. He taught me that no dream I ever had was out of reach. I am so thankful for the way he instilled those things in me.  He's always worked. He never wanted handouts or help. But I need to help him now. He hasn't been able to work steadily and that just isn't normal for my dad. 
This means alot to me to be able to help him some way. He has VA insurance and as much as I appreciate and am thankful that it's available to him, there are other costs that he's shouldering. 
If you know my dad you know that he'd hate this but I love him so much and I want to help him.
