Fenner Family House Fire

Our brother and sister, Brian and Debi Fenner, had a horrible house fire and they have lost nearly everything. Our brother said it best in his own words. By now most of you are aware of the tragedy that has fallen on my Family. Our beloved historic home burned down the early morning hours on Thursday. Deb Fenner and I both had to jump from the second story to save ourselves. Deb has sustained the worse of the injuries. She has 2 broken legs. I can tell you nothing can prepare you for this night of terror. The smoke detector absolutely saved or lives. Split second decisions is all you have. The firemen told my boys we would not have survived if we tried to go down stairs. The smoke was so thick I could not see Deb standing next to me. If you don’t have smoke detectors get as many as you can. If you already have them check the batteries.  We lost our beloved pets. Everything is gone. Deb had her pajamas on and I had a Tee shirt and underwear. If you know Deb at all, you know she loves her animals. This part is as difficult as can be for her. You never forget your memories you will always have them. Everything else is materialistic and most of that can be replaced. I would like to thank all the responders. If you don’t think our fire fighters police and emt’s aren’t the most amazing people come watch what they do. These are the BIGGEST HEROS. To Lee Fenner and Blake Fenner you guys are amazing. You did not skip a beat. You jumped right in and started helping out. Kristi Lynn and Siobhán Marguerite Fairchild your support for our boys is nothing short of amazing. We love you both. To my sisters and sister in-law. This is what family is about We can’t thank you enough for all you do. To all of our friends that have reached out thank you for all the kind words and gifts. Without you all this would be even worse. Deb has the longest recovery but like I said to her. We have our Love. We have our Family and we have the greatest friends.
