Hello! My name is Shay Dite and I am currently in college studying Theater Design and Technology. I was recently offered an internship in New York working with a Broadway scenic designer.  This is the opportunity of a lifetime for me to start gaining connections and exploring New York in the professional field I am studying and plan to persue. 

I started this Go Fund Me in order to help me cover my living expenses while I am there for the month of July. New York is not cheap, and the money I raise will be exclusively for my cost of plane tickets, housing, and food. Having my complete funds by the middle of June is important so I can go with my costs covered.

Being able to go to New York with this internship will open doors and help me gain professional connections that I need once I am done with my undergraduate career. Your help to get me to New York will mean the absolute world to me, because I will be learning everything that I need to know about my career in a strong professional setting and what to expect in this amazing city.
