Care for Patricia

On May 7, I received a phone call from Puyallup, Washington where my parents were visiting family. My mother went to the emergency room with difficulties breathing. She has been in the hospital for 14 days so far. She was initially diagnosed with congestive heart failure, but it was determined she has Stage IV breast cancer. The cancer cell type is treatable but we need to get her home for care. Each day she grows a little stronger thanks to everyone's prayers. Your prayers are the most valuable gift but at this time we are humbly requesting financial assistance. We need enough funds to fly mom home on a non-stop flight. Connecting flights would be taxing as enduring a direct flight will already be enough of a challenge for her. She also is in need of oxygen and a wheelchair. Because of the fluid that keeps building in her lungs she will need medical attention when she returns home. In addition, medicine and ongoing treatment will be needed. She will also need home care, as my father and I will need to return to work.
