Willie Lee Clark Junior was a fighter of many battles. He is a US Veteran, a father, a grandfather, a hero, a brother, a friend and much more.
He spent 2+ years fighting for the country in Vietnam until receiving honorary discharge making him eligible to return home. The challenges he faced during war caused him to be deemed 100% disabled by the VA.
Although Willie had a enormous support group, for many years he has struggled with his health. On September 9th, 2020 Willie woke up without the ability to move on his own. He made an effort in continuing to improve his health for the sake of his children by once again going to Highland Hospital for help. During his duration of being emitted he somehow contracted COVID-19 putting his body against the hardest battle to face yet.
On the morning of September 16th, 2020 doctors once again phoned his children with their concerns in his battle against COVID.
Willie passed away around 8:30AM that morning leaving the hearts of everyone who loved him shattered.
Willie was married for 20 years to Monica, the mother of his 2 youngest children. She unfortunately left him and her kids behind causing him to be a single father. Monica sadly passed March 03rd, 2016. Together they had two children, Felecia Clark (22) and Jeremiah Clark (21). Willie also raised and fathered his step-daughter, Laquisha Clark (26) and a granddaughter Tajanea Clark (11).
He is extremely missed by many. COVID did not allow anyone to spend time with him during his distress at Highland. This has put a major burden on his young children and granddaughter
We are blessed to receive any help that would allow us to give him
