My name is Monica. I live and work in a RV resort in Yuma, AZ where I met two very special people, Minnie (Marina) and Harry. It didn't take long and we became very close friends. Minnie and Harry have recently developed serious health issues. Harry has to undergo an angiogram with possible angioplasty. Minnie has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will soon undergo a full mastecomy.
Minnie and Harry are Canadian and most, or all, of their medical costs will be covered, but that doesn't help with their living expenses, car payments and rent. Monies raised here will help them pay their bills since they will both be missing work during all the medical tests, procedures, surgery and recovery. Even though they are technically retired, Minnie typically works 3 part time jobs during the summer months while at home in Canada and Harry works a full time job as well. Winter months are spent in Yuma, AZ. They work hard all summer so they may enjoy the sun and warmth in the desert southwest. Minnie and Harry have both missed several days of work already with all the visits for tests, follow ups, and more tests. Harry will likely have to travel 8 hours away to have his procedures. Travel expenses will cause a strain on their already tight budget.
Minnie spends her winters helping others in our little community, always has a smile on her face and will go out of her way to figure out how to fix, clean, mend or make anything to help a friend save a few bucks or a little time. Harry keeps our common areas beautiful planting and maintaining flowers all winter long. They have given so much to so many (me and my hubby included), it would mean the world to me if they didn't have to worry about making ends meet and covering lost wages.

UPDATE: Harry's procedures went really well and he is fully recovered. He did have to travel for the medical services. Harry wishes to thank everyone for the support and prayers.
