My brother Francisco, a.k.a Pancho and his wife Stephanie were expecting their first child, little angel Sofia to arrive in the beginning of June 2016 but on May 18, 2016 during a routine prenatal check-up and via an ultra sound the Dr discovered that little Sofia has a blockage in her brain.

My brother and Stephanie were flow immediately from Victoria to Vancouver Women's Hospital. At this time the Dr's are saying both mom and baby are stable but they are preparing a C-section date in order to safely deliver and operate little Sofia's brain as soon as she is born.

At this time the Dr's believe they will need to stay in Vancouver for more than two weeks which as you can imagine will cause financial stress to my brother as he needs to be there to support Stephanie and be there for when Sofia is born.

The funds raised from this campaign will be used to support my brother and his family financially while they are in Vancouver and so they can have the peace of mind to focus on the safe arrival of their little girl. As a mother of four, I can't begin to imagine how stressful and emotionally draining it would be to be faced with such a challenge on the arrival of your child.
