Can't Stop The Rain

Alayna J Rain Heddlesten On Friday, 09/17/2020, our sweet, spunky, beautiful Alayna J Rain went to the hospital after suffering headaches and dizziness for months.  She had been to her regular doctor many times but was never accurately diagnosed. At the ER, they did a CT scan and scheduled her for surgery the next morning, where they removed a baseball-size tumor from her brain in a three-hour surgery. This was our first victory as the surgery had been anticipated to take six hours.   The doctors also found an addition tumors on her spine and testing determined they are cancerous.  The preliminary diagnosis is medulloblastoma. We now must fly to Phoenix for a eight-week stay, during which she will have proton radiation therapy and four to eight rounds of chemotherapy through a lumbar port. We need help for the travel costs, medical expenses, bills, and general support for Jessi and Keith’s family during this time as we are both leaving work to be with our daughter. We will do everything we can to get her back to the things she love’s: camping, fishing and boating, spending time with her family, her dogs, and drawing. God is 100% in control! He is a way maker and miracle worker. He brings light to the darkness!
