Help needed for funeral costs for my Brother.

Hello. I never thought I would need to create a go fund me page like this. My younger Brother Alan Hollins turned 29 on September 12th 2020. On September 13th 2020 he had a cardiac arrest at home with his Mum whilst having what we thought was a short minor illness. Alan was put in an induced coma and suffered severe brain damage due to not getting medical attention soon after his cardiac arrest. On the 17th of September my Mum was told the news that he will never wake up and that the best option would be to turn off the machines keeping him alive. On Sunday the 20th we had to let him go and visit our dad in heaven who passed away himself in 2018 from cancer. Alan wasn’t just your typical person, he had a rare condition called Velocardiofacial syndrome, this is also known as DiGeorge syndrome, this held him back in life, it caused him to have learning difficulties which required him to go to a special needs school, he had a severe speech problem which prevented him from getting a job as no one could understand him, he struggled to make friends in person because of this condition giving him a lack of confidence. Alan was a gamer at heart, he would play games all day which would help him build relationships with people and take him into his own world away from his challenged life. He loved his pets at home, his family and growing his own produce in our garden to share with our neighbours. He drew the short straw at life with so much to look forward to, he was the youngest of our immediate family and we want to be able to ensure he has the send off he needs. With such unexpected circumstance we are looking for support towards the cover of the funeral costs and if we are very lucky, we would like to use some of any remaining funds to help support my mother during this grieving stage. No mother should have to bury her child. Thank you for your time reading this story.
