House Burned Bobcat Fire Juniper Hills Grandma

Donation protected
Last night, Mardelle Sakemiller received the devastating news that the Bobcat fire had taken her home in Juniper Hills. This is the place she has called home for the past 35 years. Mardi is a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren and three daughters that will no longer be able to spend holidays in their family home. She left during the evacuation in a frantic state only thinking to bring her car, rv, food, and dog. Everything else was left behind. Clothes, photos, family heirlooms, keepsakes, and so many more irreplaceable items have burned to dust. Mardelle is a widow in her late 70’s and all of her tangible memories and photos of her husband are gone to ruins. The only part of her home left standing is the once beautiful rock wall. We are so grateful that she made it out safe but this is still such a heartbreaking situation. Insurance will not be covering the damage. She is left with nothing and needs help to purchase furniture, clothing, and most importantly to rebuild her home. Anything that can be done to help her get back on her feet is greatly appreciated. All funds will go directly to Mardi to help her get new clothes, and a place to stay. #bobcatfire #widow #grandmother # houseburned #fire #juniperhills #familyhome #evacuation #grandma #tragedy #housefire
