Dear Family & Friends of Kassie, Kim, & Ed!
Hello, my name is Vida Lorzano. I have known Kimberly Keator since 1984 and consider her part of my immediate family. It is with her permission that I have set up this GoFundMe, in an effort to help mitigate the building medical expenses from the unexpected emergency that has befallen her only child, Kassie Keator.
As some of you already know, Kassie was airlifted to a hospital in Saginaw, MI. They did some preliminary testing and determined that she has suffered from a brain bleed in her frontal lobe which has greatly affected her right side of the brain, also known as her motor skills. She has been in Neuro ICU for the past week, and will be transitioning to regular ICU sometime today after another series of scans.
Kassie's mother, Kim and her boyfriend, Ed, have been right by her side and updating daily for the past week. Neither of them have the financial resources to support the expected long-term medical and rehabilitative bills that are necessary for Kassie to get back to her life with Ed and their fur babies.
If you would all kindly give what you can or share this post, it will greatly appreciated! Those who know Kim, Kassie, and/or Ed, know they are the type of people who advocate for the less fortunate, and who would give what they can if any of their friends were in need. I want to thank everyone who have sent Kim and Ed money thus far, and appreciate the ongoing prayers for Kassie's speedy recovery. I know that with all the friends they have collectively, the financial burden would be a great relief during this stressful and scary time.
