New hearing aids for Robert Coon

As most of my friends know, I have had hearing problems all of my life. I am supposed to wear hearing aids in both ears. I have only had one for the last 10 years I believe. The one I currently wear in my left ear is over 5 years old and has been rebuilt once. They only last 3-5 years and this one is slowly getting worse. I had to pay $2200 for this one, so you can imagine how much new ones are now days. I can't just go out and get a new one at the drop of a hat. However, I need one to be able to carry on a normal everyday life. I am not a social butterfly and do not start conversations with others due to the fact I don't want to be embarrassed about not being able to hear everyone. I am not one to ask for help or a handout, but everyone since I started wearing hearing aids, I can't live without them now. Imagine having your cell phone all this time and then trying to live without it with no warning. So I'm asking for a little help from all my friends out there to help me get through this as quickly as I can before this hearing aid dies. I am in the process of getting tested and fitted for at least one new hearing aid. Insurance says they cover them, after you pay the $2500 deductible per ear. So basically they are not covered by my insurance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this special request.
