Olitos Fight Against Leukemia

Hello friends, family, and acquaintances,
On behalf of our dear friend Olegario Torres we want to take a moment to share with you that Olito is in a fight against Cancer. Back in May Oli was at the hospital visiting his ill grandfather Agustin (please keep him in your prayers). Although the visit was a tough one for everybody, like always Olito found a way to brighten up the day. Proudly, Olito shared with everyone how excited he was to begin a new chapter in his life as a student in a medical assistant program. Everyone was happy that he found his calling, and supportive about his new journey. Little did we know that his plans would be put to an abrupt pause. The following day he was admitted to the hospital where he underwent four blood transfusions. He eventually went home after a couple days only to return again diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He is currently at UC Davis near Sacramento, California where he is currently undergoing chemotherapy and possibly a bone marrow transplant soon. Olito is a very special human being with a heart full of kindness and a contagious laugh. Even through the pain and suffering, he smiles and always seems to see the positive in every situation. He's been through good times and bad times, yet no matter what he always seems to light up the room. I know with a lot of support and prayers from all those who care about Oli, together we can all help Olito win this battle. We want to ask anyone who can lend a helping hand to please help fund Oli's goal. And as we all know Oli is in a difficult circumstance right now, his bills and expenses don't know and don't care. So we want to raise money for him during this hardship so that when he beats this fight he may get back on his feet and continue in a positive path.
