I hope this letter finds you well! I’m writing to share with you an exciting opportunity that I will be participating in this coming fall and to ask you to consider being a part of it through prayer and financial support!
I am blessed to have the opportunity to go to Perth, Australia on a 6-month mission trip with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). I leave September 30th, and get back home on March 20th, 2016. YWAM is an international, interdenominational Christian mission agency. For over 43 years, YWAM has been mobilizing young people like myself to help meet the needs of and minister to hurting people worldwide. I will have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ through service work and one-on-one evangelism. I am excited to be given the honor of being God’s hands and feet in places of great need!
During the first half of the mission trip, I will receive discipleship training. My time will include studying God's Word, worship, guest speakers, fellowship, discipleship and service. The training time is followed by the outreach phase, which gives me a chance to share the Gospel with the people of Perth, as well as one or more additional locations yet to be determined, through working with their local ministries. I may end up somewhere else in Southeast Asia or Mozambique or Uganda or anywhere really! I will definitely let everyone know where I will be headed once it has been determined!
I would like to invite you to be a part of what God has called me to do over the course of these next few months. Prayer over this whole trip is so vital and it would be awesome to be supported in that way, both now and while I'm away! If you would like to provide financial support as well, that would be great too! The link to my fundraising website is below! I started a fundraiser on Go Fund Me to raise the funding that I need for this missions trip. I have a one-time single donations goal of $4,657-$6,062 that will go towards the cost of the missions trip. There is a donations range since I do not yet know where I will be headed during the outreach phase. We should know where are going shortly after arriving in Perth, which is really exciting! I would consider it a privilege to have you on my team for this exciting opportunity, and I know the Lord can use us to glorify Him and exalt His name, as well as to grow me and help me better see the world and its people in a godly and Christ-honoring perspective!
