Jamar and Adam Lost All in Fire

Jamar, Adam and their 3 young kids were devastated to learn about the fires at home, in Southern Oregon. They watched in horror, thousands of miles away from Panama. Sadly, everything they left behind, all of their years of belongings, furniture, and memories that they had saved and stored, were turned to ashes in a blink of an eye.

Jamar, a teacher, and Adam, a pediatric nurse, left most everything behind in Talent to go work with children in Panama. They took a financial hit with the move, but felt called to go, and felt secure knowing they had their belongings to come home to. They are scheduled to return at the end of this school year.

Jamar and Adam are grieving for their community and hometown, for all their friends and loved ones who are going through so much, while also trying to navigate their own personal loss.

Unfortunately, their insurance company would only insure the storage unit if they had a rental or owned a house, so their belongings were uninsured for the first time ever when they left for Panama. Please consider donating to help this family get back on their feet when they return to Oregon.
