Last year we had a local gear head approach us with his story. He's fighting cystic fibrosis, his name is Steven Hetrick, some of you may know him. He is a good dude, and a great friend. That being said, here is his story.

My name is Steven hetrick, I am 24 years old, and I suffer from a disease called cystic fibrosis. It is a genetic disease, which causes your pancreas to create a thick sticky mucous. This mucous then coats your lungs and your lungs begin to fail over time. I have been battling this disease for a long time, and the time has come that I will be needing a double lung transplant within the next year, maybe 2 max. The costs associated with this procedure, as you can imagine, are extremely high... So, since I have also always been in the car scene and everything, I thought maybe doing a meet or something as a fund raiser maybe next spring/summer, and I couldn't think of anyone better to ask.

He reached out to us in hopes of an event to help cover the costs of his transplant, well for our first event, what better way to set off the season than to help a great guy with his fight

This gofund me page is so anyone unable to attend the event, can still participate. Anything helps... and every cent donated will go directly to covering the cost of Hetricks transplant.
