Hey Y'all! My name is Brian Emery, and I am from Charlotte, NC. I am excited to announce that I am leaving for Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa at the end of September 2015. I am going to be a part of the Youth With A Misson (YWAM) Discipleship Training School. The course has two phases and will last until the end of February 2016. The two parts are: lecture phase, and outreach phase. For the lecture phase I will be studying God's word, and learning practical knowledge to apply in the mission field. For the outreach phase I am going to be using all the knowledge I've gained in the classroom and applying it to hands-on mission work. For the lecture phase I will stay in Muizenberg, but the outreach phase is going to be done in an undecided location! It could be in any country in the world, and I am excited to find out where I'll be! The $5,000 is going to cover flight costs, food, and cost of living for the duration of the trip.
