My name is Sarena Shilts. I am a 2019 Texas Christian University Graduate (B.S Mathematics), Air Force Officer, student pilot, and Miss Texas USA candidate. I am reaching out to you regarding your sponsorship in exchange for social media exposure, or simply for your support.
I will be competing in the 2021 Miss Texas USA pageant in Houston, Texas, on September 3rd and 4th. I am asking for you or your company to help me financially with pageant fees/expenses, and in reaching my goal of expanding representation of women in the military and in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). I believe that representation matters. It is my mission to empower young women to know that they, too, belong in industries such as the military, aviation, and STEM.
Miss Texas has the privilege of using her platform to make positive change, and with your support, I would have the opportunity to work on initiatives that empower young women and girls to know they have a spot at any table they choose to sit at, despite what the world tells them.
