If you know Jeff Kabacinski at all, you know he’s one extremely hardworking guy, who is always willing to help others in need. We’ve traveled cross country to clean up storm damage, we’ve repaired stranded vehicles, put roofs on strangers homes, cut down trees, repaired fences, cut up firewood so people could have heat, fed homeless people, provided them with warm clothes, donated meat to the hungry, torn down buildings, and built new ones, etc. Now in this moment of time, Jeff and his family need our love and support. On Friday morning, September 11, 2020, we headed out on a lake in Alabama. Typically we would be fishing in Canada but the coronavirus changed that. Our first stop was a local spot where people jump off of cliffs. The first person in our group jumped with no issues. Jeff jumped second and when he hit the water, he compressed his spine. He broke two ribs, burst fractured his T12 & broke his T11 vertebrae and experienced temporary paralysis from the bone fragments hitting his spinal cord. He made it through the surgery and the doctor was able to put everything back together. Jeff now has pins and rods holding the damaged area together. He’s got a very long road of recovery ahead and his family will need our love and support along the way. He will need a long hiatus from work to allow for healing and rehabilitation. Many of you have asked where you can donate or how you can help Jeff, Brea, and Logan during this difficult time. Donations will go towards covering medical bills, deductibles, travel experiences, and other expenses while he’s unable to work.
