On 15th June 2022, Arshad Iqbal will start this epic journey to reach the Refugee camp in Mazar e Sharif, Afghanistan which he visited in July 2021. You can watch the video above.
The aim is to generate funds for two water pumps, food and tents for over 700 people living in this refugee camp, including children, women and men , who are internally displaced during the war over 40 years. #irideforafghanistan

Why?
Since Arshad visited Afghanistan, just three weeks before the current government took over, witnessing the sufferings of local people with his own eyes, he wanted to do something which will have some impact on their lives. As we know drinking two liters of water daily is recommended by doctors but children, old and young, men and women have very limited access to water, they can not afford drinking enough water daily and stay healthy.
With YOUR HELP, he will be able to plant Hand water pumps, provide food and tents for the people in Refugee camp, creating a positive image and realizing his dream to impact the lives of people in need positively. People of Afghanistan deserve more than just war.

The funds will be handed over to a local NGO in Mazar e Sharif called 'Hilal Foundation' by him PERSONALLY and the initial work to install the water pumps will be done in his PRESENCE. The initial estimate for the Water Pumps, food and tents is between €6000-€7000.
With YOUR help, people will have access to more drinking water, which is necessary to stay healthy and prevent disease which might occur otherwise if not enough water is taken in the body on a regular basis.
Any excess amount will be used to purchase more food for families in the refugee camp which cost between €35-€50 for a family of five for one month in this refugee camp.
He has personally donated the refugee camp and other people in need in Afghanistan on regular basis but with a regular job it is not possible for him to bear all the expenses on his own and help the refugee camp, thus asking YOU for HELP.

There is also an opportunity for those who have been to places he will be riding through to refresh their memories as well as those who, for some reasons, can not or might not be able to go to such places they will also see them with him on his youtube channel . He will be sending personalized Postcards for 50 donors chosen randomly. This is the minimum form of THANKS Arshad can do in return of your warm support to his cause.

Although this is a budget expedition, he has a lot of money to raise in a very short period of time before he sets off to Afghanistan in June 2022, the greatest costs being hand water pumps , technical staff, labor, food, accommodation and maintenance. Any support you can offer towards my expedition will be so gratefully received.
He has never conducted an expedition on this large scale, so this will be a challenge for his mental and physical endurance. Arshad is sure with YOUR help and SUPPORT he will be successful and spread some happiness as well.
