200 mile cycle to donate a cold cot in memory of our niece
Donation protected
We are the uncle and aunt of a beautiful wee girl, Skye Kaur Harkin, who was sadly stillborn on 26th May 2025.
Thanks to a cold cot, her mum and dad were able to spend a few days making their precious memories with her. We were also blessed to be able to spend time with her and have memories we will never forget. Skye taught us so much about life that we never knew possible.
Cold cots are vital to families in situations like this and therefore, we want to fundraise to donate one in Skye’s memory.
My challenge is to cycle 200 miles, the last 100 miles will be done at once on 26 July, and will be a cycle across the central belt of Scotland. Our kids, who are 11 and 12, will also be joining in on this cycle too, in memory of their wee cousin.
We also have a charity football match planned during the summer & may carry out other fundraising efforts along the way to reach the goal.
It’s going to be a huge challenge but will be worth it to remember Skye, raise awareness and raise funds to donate a cot in her name.
Unfortunately, in Scotland alone 4 stillborn babies are born every week and cold cots are so needed to allow their families that extra time to make the only memories they will have with their little one. They are expensive, so we really do appreciate any donations!
we will update this page as we rack up the miles. Thank you for any support to this cause, we really do appreciate you.
