25 Plus Yrs in the U.S. -- ICE Took My Dad Away
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Jessica, and I’m the daughter of Jose Angel. I’m reaching out to my community in a moment of deep fear and urgency.
Recently, my father's workplace was raided by ICE, and he was detained. Since then, I’ve had very limited communication with him, and it’s been heartbreaking not knowing what’s happening or what’s next. I’ve found an immigration attorney who is willing to help, but the legal fees total $14,500, an amount I simply can’t cover on my own.
My father has been in the United States for over 25 years. He is a kind, humble, and incredibly hard-working man who has always done everything he could to support our family. We’ve always leaned on each other emotionally and financially. Without my father, I’m not only terrified for his safety, but I’m also left without the support system I’ve depended on. The weight of bills, rent, and daily expenses is now falling completely on me, and it’s overwhelming.
We are originally from Nicaragua, and returning there is not an option for my dad. He has spoken out publicly against the Nicaraguan regime, and if forced to go back, he would face serious danger and political persecution. His life is at risk.
Please, if you are able, consider donating or sharing this page with others. Every bit of support, financial or emotional, means the world to us. Help me fight for my father’s freedom and safety.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Jessica
