My son Drew had an accident on Monday, May 9th. He has some serious damage to his right leg, has already underwent two surgeries, and has at least one more ahead. On Wednesday, May 18th they are removing his soft cast and putting on a splint. However, the splint is NOT covered by Medicare, and Drew currently has no medical coverage. The estimated cost of the splint is $900-1200. He will also need to have medication to help with his pain once he's released from the hospital. Our family can cover some costs, but we just can't cover it all unfortunately. If you can help at all we would really appreciate it.
