Daryl Ritz's life was one of dedication to his family, friends and community. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. As a respected member of the Colorado Springs Fire Department, Daryl selfessly put his life on the line for the safety of those around him. Daryl was tragically taken from us on May 16, 2016. Losing Daryl is heartbreaking and devastating and his family deserves better than to have to worry about monetary expenses at this time. Any donations made to the Daryl Ritz Memorial Fund will be used foremost for funeral expenses and then at the discretion of his wife, Cindy Ritz. Daryl was an amazing man with a big heart and he will be greatly missed.
