My name is Erica Brough and I am tying to raise money to cover the costs of surgery and additional vet bills for my family's dog, Hunter. We have had Hunter since he was 8 weeks old when we go him for my handicapped brother Robert. Robert grew up watching Air Bud and always dreamed of having his own Air Bud dog and Hunter was his dream come true. Hunter has now been a treasured part of our family for 7 year, but unfortunateley now he is dire need of help that my family can't afford. 

Hunter has been diagnosed with a mass in his abdomen that requires surgery as soon as possible. The mass is putting pressure on his bladder and colon so that he is unable to go to the bathroom and his enlargered bladder is now causing damage to his kidneys. If he can not have surgery as soon as possible, the only other option is to have him put down. Hunter is a happy, silly dog with so much more life left in him and we want to do everything we can to save him. We have already spent over $1000 in vet bills and we simply can not afford anymore. My mom recently lost her job so things are even more desperate. 

The estimated cost of the surgery is $2400-3500. There would also be additional costs for follow-up care. The money raised will go to pay all of these costs, as well as help to pay for the ones he has already inncurred from having bloodwork, x-rays and ultrasounds done in the past week.

I don't like the idea of asking for money, but desperate times call for desperate measures. My family adores this dog and can't bare the thought of losing him. I would be eternally grategul for any help you could offer. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
