Rayya's soft room!
Donation protected

Hello everyone,
This page is for my beautiful girl Rayya! We're trying to raise money together so we can adapt our house to meet her needs. I received a letter from the council saying they will not give me a grant because I can lift Rayya up and down the stairs. In case she gets to heavy they will put a chair lift or a normal lift in our house.
Let me tell you a little bit about Rayya.
Rayya is our second child. She was born on the 1st of September 2013. She has a genetic condition called ring chromosome 14. She was born blind because of it. Other symptoms include delayed mental and physical development, seizures etc. She can't walk or talk. We've been told it's unlikely she will. But we are keeping hope. We are working on her sitting though. However her latest xrays have shown her spine being curved causing more complications with her balance and health.
She can't eat orally and has a feeding tube in her stomach. She suffers from recurrent chest infections. She also has a small benign tumour in her head near her pituary gland.
We bought the house not planning for anymore kids. It's an upside down house. Living room upstairs, kitchen downstairs. Perfect for me, hubby and our boy. It would have still been perfect with Ray minus her condition. We looked in to moving house, but with our family so close to us, finding the right house is turning in to a huge task.
We want Rayya to be safe, sound and happy. We are going to convert the downstairs by moving the kitchen to our garage, making the kitchen/dining room into a living room.
The money we raise will be used to extend in to our garden to make a soft room for Rayya with lots of lights and bright colours (See the link attached) We will store all her equipment there along with her bed and everything else she needs. This will also enable me to see Rayya while I'm cooking, knowing she is safe.
Please help us make our home safe and enjoyable for Rayya. She already has so many hurdles to overcome.
any donation is more than welcome, how big or small it may be. Thank you all for taking the time to read about our princess and hopefully you can help us achieve our goal!
Please spread the word.
