The world lost a great loving, dreamer of a man. He had dreams of a restaurant and was always in the kitchen cooking. Even with a weak heart, he had a BIG heart. Always including the loneliest souls in all family events. You were always guaranteed a full belly and leftovers for home. It’s almost like he wanted you to take home a part of his family with you.
With the sudden loss of his mother and wife, a shadow of depression plagued him. He wanted to be with them. Things started to look up after Ruben accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at Prevailing Word Church in Lytle, TX. Unfortunately you are never guaranteed a straight path. His health issues continued to be unstable, and he was called to join his wife and mother on May 16, 2016. He leaves behind 6 sons and 4 daughters, half of whom they adopted and are between 10 to 16 years old. Funds are needed to cover funeral service expenses immediately and support for the children. Any amount is greatly appreciated in donations.
