Hey Everyone.
Hoping we can all come together and help out Greg and the fam. It’s been a rough few weeks.
Greg underwent two surgeries but there was only one tumour...it was massive, cancerous and blocked his colon which perforated his bowel. They did an emergency surgery to remove the blockage and also removed many lymph nodes in that area that they could see were infected with cancer. The bowel was in very rough shape so they needed to let the swelling go down and left his abdomen open for 24hrs. The second surgery they did an ileostomy which has left him with an ostomy bag for right now. They removed more lymph nodes for testing which also turned out to have been infected with cancer unfortunately.
Greg has been diagnosed with High Risk stage 3 colon cancer at this point. They still don’t know if it’s spread to his organs as the tests are still on going but either way the treatment is 6months of chemo in Vancouver.
In true Greg fashion he was hesitant when I asked him to allow me to set this up, I know him and Krissy will be appreciative of some help to relieve any financial stress. They have their little lady Elowyn at home as well.
We all love giant jolly Greg, so if you can help out at all, everything counts.
