Family of five in Oakland needs rent money help to stop eviction!! They were served unlawful detainer last week.

To whom it may concern: thank you for taking the time and to listening to my story. I have been working in a non-profit field for about 24 years. I was homeless at the age of 16, raised my two girls and now I have four grandkids. Two of my grandkids I am raising and my daughter and her daughter are living with me. I recently have been laid off from work, and I was the breadwinner in the family. I moved not too long ago knowing I had a job till for the rent. I will be honest, I have been through eviction before and was homeless and I'm trying to prevent that from happening again. Yes, I have applied for unemployment, unfortunately my doctor won't help me with disability even though I have a diagnosis of depression, PTSD and back problems. I have been extremely depressed but trying to get back on my feet and I owe two months of rent. My rent cost $2,700 and we owe several months, so at this point I really do need support and it's really hard for me to ask. I'm usually the one to offer support to my clients so now I'm asking for support for my family. I have tried back rent assistance but nothing is helping especially in Alameda county. I am trying to prevent my family from being coming homeless so if you could be so kind and assisting me with anything I would be truly grateful. Most of all my grandkids would be truly grateful.
