Hello everyone. In the midst of all that we are facing, collectively and each personally, my siblings and I are jumping into action to raise money to purchase a 5th wheel trailer as a temporary shelter/home for our father, Glenn Castillo, and his precious wife Patsy. They live above Lake Oroville, on our long time family property, where we grew up, which has been completely destroyed by the North Complex Fire that is STILL ablaze.

My dad is a 71 year old disabled Army veteran who loves to live off the land. His wife Patsy, 74, is struggling with illnesses that has her nearly immobile. Her son is doing his best to help my father care for her since they evacuated less than 24 hours before our home, along with our neighbors homes, were consumed.

When emergency workers are able to clear the roads, I will be able to check the damage and provide photos of the state of our home.

We as a family a so thankful that everyone of our family members are alive and safe, however still devastated that not all is well. Elderly and homeless. So we know and understand that many hands make light work. And we are asking all who are able to give a little and share a lot on social media. To put into perspective, if 2500 people gave only $2 we would meet the needs of a family left without a roof over their heads.
