Hey there TEAM TARA supporters! Let’s show love and support to our AMAZING girl Tara!
As most of you know, Tara recently went into the doctor with what she thought were just stomach issues. She was then told that she needed to see her doctor, because it looked like there was a tumor on her ovary. After meeting with her doctor and having some blood work done, Tara was given the news that her blood work revealed her white cell count was elevated, and was told to meet with the oncologist. The plan was to have a hysterectomy, and to have the tumor tested and sent off to the mayo clinic. The doctor thought they removed everything and the surgery went well. We all thought Tara was in the clear. When the biopsy results came back, the news was shocking. It was cancer. Tara was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer and it has spread to two of her lymph nodes. On March 22, 2016 Tara started her first round of chemotherapy.
While she has every plan to fight this battle head on, Tara and her family will need our help in fighting down the medical bills. We are reaching out to everyone we can, to be able to provide the support and emotional energy she needs to focus on this fight!
Many of you that know Tara know she is not one to ask for help from many people. Despite that, as family, we are reaching out for any help available for her, Josh, and Liv. If you can, please help by donating to Tara’s medical and living expenses during this fight. Help us to reassure her that while she is forced to fight this fight, we are all here for her, Josh, and Liv. We all stand behind her, love her, and will support her as we help her kick cancer’s butt!!
WE LOVE YOU TARA!
