Hi there,
My name's Amanda-Paige, and I am raising funds for my dog - yes, my dog. Living across country and oceans away from any family or those closest to you, gives "man's best friend" a whole new meaning.
*Dog families will understand. 

I am raising money to help cover my dog, Lady's, unexpected emergency surgery. Lady is a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel who allowed us to rescue each other when I moved to California on my own in 2012. Out of nowhere, yesterday, we discovered she had a severely enlarged spleen, and today, it was the size of a small football and growing rapidly, taking up over half her abdomen. The only option was surgery asap.  

For those who know me, know it's not often that I ask for help, but this is one of those times that I felt it's worth the risk. "We have not because we ask not." If you feel led to help, I would appreciate it beyond words. And if you can't, I appreciate your prayers even more. The sooner the funds are collected the better, but I have until June 15, 2016 to pay it off.
