My husband Mark was diagnosed with Leukaemia 8 years ago. Since his initial treatment including a having had a bone marrow transplant he has been battling many side affects.
Over the last few months, sadly he has been in and out of hospital with chronic lung disease issues. More Recently he was diagnosed with Chronic Eosinophilic Pneumonia, a condition that affects his lungs and his ability to breath properly.
To help keep him from continually returning, and having long stays in hospital he needs the help of an oxygen machine to sleep with.
Unfortunately he does not qualify to have the use of the oxygen at home through the hospital system. These machines are costly to hire for home and the possibility of him returning to work is not looking likely for him.
These long stays away from his family are quite hard for us all.....The kids and I would just really love to have him home with us.
If you can help even a small amount it would mean so much to us, every little bit helps.
