Baby Lianna Rose

My name is Yesenia and I am fundraising for my niece Lianna Rose.... Here is her story. Lianna is a beautiful baby girl born on April 8 2016 at just 36 weeks gestation due to premature membrane rupture. Lianna's first 4 days of life were spent in ICU due to complications. Finally Frances was able to go home with the baby when she was just 5.5 lbs. Her 2 year old sister Penelope couldn't be more excited to have her home. On Thursday May 12th after just just 4 weeks of happiness with Lianna being home she had to be rushed by ambulance to the hospital. There she was resuscitated and placed on life support to be stabilized. We learned of many complications; she went into septic shock impacting vital organs. As of today May 16th Lianna remains intubated and is very weak and is still pending many tests to know what her prognosis is. We keep her in our prayers. Frances her mom is a Nurse, currently on unpaid maternity leave and has not been able to return to work. Per doctors, Lianna will have a long recovery ahead and will be in the hospital for weeks.
