Help Chris and Lindsay Hopkins

Hi Everyone!!!!
So many of us know Chris and Lindsay and if you don't, you would instantly love them! They are both salt of the earth, kind and loving people!
They have been together since meeting in college and Lindsay being none too impressed with Chris. He obviously used some of his charm to win her over. They are now happily married with 3 beautiful children, their youngest being only 2 months old.
Lindsay noticed a lump near her breast a couple of years ago and kind of didn't worry about it sinc
e even her Doctor told her is was something to do with her milk duct.
As she was pregnant with what we are now calling her ''miracle baby', the lump more than quadrupled in size.
Lindsay and Chris decided that for the safety of the baby, they would wait until Maya was delivered and healthy to have it taken care of.
A couple of weeks after Maya was born, Lindsay had the lump aspirated and tested only to get the scariest news you'd ever want to hear!!!
Cancer!!! Cancer!!! Cancer!!!! One of the most terrifying words in our vocabulary! You never think it will effect you, especially at the young age of 33!!!!
She has gone from being told she has stage 4 lymphoma with a 50% chance to live, that she would have to do inpatient chemo 5 days at a time to that it is stage 2 and she can do 6 cycles of outpatient chemo.
Even though the diagnosis is so much better, it is still a heavy burden mentally, emotionally and financially on this beautiful family!
Chris is a Poker Room Supervisor at Horseshoe Baltimore, but he also works in Table Games in Perryville and any other work he can find, he takes!!! He's most definitely one of the hardest working, most family oriented men I have ever had the pleasure to know!
Lindsay is the heart of their beautiful young family. They made a decision together that she would stay home and raise their children!
When situations like this happen, friends and loved ones feel helpless, wondering what they can do to help. Well, donating whatever you can to help them relieve some of this financial burden is a great place to start! We will all do what we can to help them in every way possible, but the money collected will help give them at least some piece of mind.
