My name is Abby. My husband and I are fundraising for our son Dylan. On May 6, 2016 he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. He is 6. Overnight he went from having a carefree life to now getting shots of insulin and his little fingers pricked everyday. He is so brave and never cries. We want to raise money to get Dylan a diabetic service dog. The dog would be trained to alert Dylan and us when his blood sugar is too low or high during the day and night. Also, the dog would be trained to get help in case of an emergency.  We want Dylan to have a companion that he can love and one that will protect him. He has always wanted a dog. So in his circumstance I feel it needs to be one that can serve him as well. A trained dog is 20k. Please helps us achieve this for our child.
