As you all know, our family has recently suffered a loss with the passing of my father Karl E. Greene Sr.. This has truly left a whole in our hearts and has taken a toll on us financially. Unfortunately his debilitating health forced him into early retirement leaving him unable to afford life insurance or death benefits. Countless numbers of family and friends have reached out, flooding our phones with calls, text messages and FB messages wanting know how they can help? I am setting up this fundraiser to somehow ease the burden that we will endure as we lay our beloved father to rest. If you can find it in your hearts to assist us with these funeral arrangements, we'd greatly appreciate it. 

My father has spent the last 10 plus years working in the Social Service field helping a lot of people secure adequate housing and other sevices relating to hardship. I guess this was his way of giving back to the most vunerable citizens of Chicago after knowing first hand of the challenges that a few bad choices can bring. After speaking with his coworkers recently, it made me proud to here so much good that they had to say about his service. For those that knew him, please feel free to leave any tributes in his memory in show of support to our family.
