Jules - Bicycle Racing In Belgium
Donation protected
Friends, Fans & Supporters,
Thank you for visiting the GoFund me page of Jules Gilliam. The purpose of this fund raising effort is to help Jules Gilliam offset costs associated with his trip to race in Belgium with the USA National Team from July 23rd to August 22nd. Being selected to race with the National Team is an honor for any young cyclist. Jules is looking forward to representing his country while gaining valueable international racing experience.

Jules will be racing in what are called "Kermesses". These races are typically 50-70 miles in duration and are held throughout Belgium. Cyclists from all over the world come to Belgium to race and he will be competing against those kids. Jules will be staying at the USA National Team European headquarters in Sittard, Netherlands. While not riding with the USA National Team, Jules is a team rider on NCCF/ Specialized Junior Racing Team.

Since this is Jules first trip to Belgium with the National Team it is only partially funded by USA Cycling. 100% of the funds collected will be used to offset the cost of his travel and other related expenses.

Besides road racing, Jules is also a multifaceted cyclist having won national titles on the velodrome as well as competing on the national level in cyclocross and he also enjoys riding his mountain bike. Outside his passion for cycling, Jules is an accomplished trumpet player, excellent student and a fun kid to be around. He also like cats.

As a thank you gift for your support you will receive a 6" quality produced refrigerator magnet of Jules racing his bicycle. These magnets are great for holding riding schedules, to do lists, family photos and a constant reminder that you helped a junior rider help fulfill a dream!
$25 + - One magnet
$55 + - Two magnets
*Magnets will be sent at the conclusion of the GoFundMe drive.
Thank You for supporting Jules in what will be a special trip. He is very much looking forward to repaying everyone's generosity by winning some races in Belgium!
