Sketch was in an accident November 2012. As a result of that accident Sketch broke his neck and damaged his spinal cord.
His family was told that he was paralyzed from the shoulders down and chances were that he would never move or feel anything ever again. He then spent months in the hospital and nursing home before he was released to come home.
As you can imagine it has been a hard road and Sketch has never let it enter his mind that he would never walk or do the things he loved again. He has been to numerous therapy centers over the last four years. He is currently a member of the Hilltop YMCA where he trains within the Clinical Fitness Program.
The program is all out of pocket and every penny raised would be put forth to his training sessions. He is making great strides and every little bit will help him continue making these strides. We are all certain he will walk unnassisted again with his continued hard work and positivity .
