Hello friends and family. I am fundraising for my sweet little guy Porkchop. I rescued him in 2015 from an amazing shelter, Husky House. He literally is the best, most lovable boy I could have ever asked for. He truly is my best friend. About 2 months ago he was experiencing what seemed to be an ear infection in his left ear. I immediately took him to the vet. Fast forward to now, he was unable to shake the infection. They tested him with a otoscope only to find out he has a mass in his ear. We were told the best plan would be doing a procedure called a Teca (total ear canal ablation) meaning, that in order to make sure they completely remove the mass they would also have to remove his entire ear canal. We were told that dogs do very well after this procedure. At this point we won't know until a CT scan and biopsy how this will go. We are praying that this is not cancerous and has spread to other parts of his body. Needless to say this is a very expensive surgery. Porkchop is a happy, little guy weighing just 7 lbs., we are devastated that he will have to undergo this surgery, but its the best option.
