On May 15 Delaney experienced the unexpected loss of her father Kenny Ramos. Kenny was very involved with Delaney and softball. He coached her since she was able to play. Kenny was a great coach and dad, he had the experience to teach others. He had a long career in the minors and played for the Houston Astros. Delaney loved her dad very much. Delaney just turned 18 and graduates from high school next week. Due to this tragedy Delaney is left with heartache and the unexpected costs.
