Friends, we are reaching out for help for Julia. Julia has been suffering for years with pericarditis; an inflammation of the sac around the heart. The pericardium can become thick and stiff which restricts the heart movement. After years of suffering and several rounds of heavy steroid treatment, she finally had surgery in July and they removed 90% of the pericardium. Though she has been on a path to recovery, she recently had complications with the remaining 10% and is receiving treatment. While they’ve been blessed, and have been able to meet their needs, as family and friends, we’ve created this fund that they may use, if needed, for anything unexpected that may arise during the course of this difficult experience. We’ll keep this account open for them, should the need arise. Julia and Nate are happy to return unused donations, or pass them on in your name. Friends, Julia is a rare treasure. She is a 38 year old mother of 7 (yes, 7!) beautiful children and a wife to a pastor in Topeka Kansas. Julia and her husband dedicate their time as faith leaders in their community. They adopted 3 of their 7 children and are currently trying to manage life right now; all while trying to heal from the first surgery, and in the midst of e-learning!
