Official Stacey Sherman Cancer Fundraiser

Mom(Stacey) had first consultation at Cancer Center she is being treated for Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer.  Starting with Chemotherapy for FOUR months. Then Radiation treatment for FIVE weeks along with Chemo-pill.  Followed by waiting period of SIX weeks to consult with surgeon for removal of tumor. 



We have just received devastating news this Friday that no family ever wants to hear. Our loving mother and best friend Stacey Sherman has been diagnosed with Rectal Cancer. We are looking to cover her expenses such as Mortgage, monthly bills and of course the staggering medical bills she is about to accrue. Her most recent procedure cost $8.000. After insurance and copay. 

  Stacey Sherman is a mother to five children: Monica, Nicole, David, Holly, and Shandell; along with twelve grandchildren.  Stacey is also about to become a great grandmother for the first time around this  November. She is an amazing and dedicated wife to her husband Spike who is bed ridden due to his own illness. She also cares for their three fur babies, Stormy, Summer and Bear.

  This all seems so surreal ! Just last week our mother was helping our sister Nicole pick out her wedding dress. The wedding is to take place next year. We are all of course hoping for the best possible outcome in this situation; that our mother will be attending the wedding. 

Stacey has been a caregiver for sixteen years; her one fault was always putting her residents, family and all others before herself. She has always worked two jobs only to just get by. 

We understand that this year has been difficult for everyone. Our hope is that as a community we can come together and help relieve the burden of the financial stress. To say any donation is greatly appreciated is truly an understatement.
