Please help Max after a hit and run

On Saturday May 14, my 2 year old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix named Max, was hit on a residential street by an SUV going at least 40-50 mph. The driver did not stop to see what he had hit but instead, sped off and fled the scene. I ran to him and saw my puppy screaming and trying to move but was unable to lift his back legs. I rushed him to the nearest animal hospital where he was found to have suffered a traumatic brain injury, he has a broken tail, a shattered pelvis, his bladder has herniated into his abdominal wall muscles and due to the tail injury, he suffered injury to the nerves supplying his genitals and anus and now has urinary and fecal incontinence.
The doctors estimate his length of stay in the hospital to be about 2 weeks during which time he will need 3 different surgeries: a tail amputation , repair of his pelvis fracture and returning and securing the bladder into its correct location.
Estimated surgery cost: $5000
He has lost a lot of blood from his pelvic fracture as you can see in the picture below, so he will need a blood transfusion before they can do surgery. He is currently being kept in an oxygen chamber and is receiving continuous pain medication. Due to his consistently elevated blood pressures and his continued need for oxygen, he has been deemed not stable enough for surgery, thus prologing his treatmemt time in the hospital.
Current estimate of hospital stay: $4000-$5000
He has started to be more alert and recognizes me and the family that has gone to visit him, but he still has a long recovery ahead of him and we are hopeful that once he receives his necessary surgeries and treatments that he will return to the happy-go-lucky, loveable, hyperactive Maxi we all know and love. Please open your hearts to my amazing puppy Max. He really needs your help.
Thank you in advance!!
