Humane Society Richland County
Donation protected
ONTARIO, OH - The Humane Society of Richland County is asking for the public's help to keep their doors open. Their funds are no longer enough to sustain the demand in the county.
"We may have to close our doors to the community. The demand is great and funds are low. In a perfect world, we wish animal abuse and neglect were non-existent but unfortunately, society shows otherwise. This is our plea to continue to serve Richland County." - Linda Swisher, Board of Directors, Humane Society
"Because our animals come from abusive and neglectful situations, it takes a lot of money to provide proper veterinary care, medications, and food for them. Additionally, our staff rigorously cleans all cages for several hours every morning before opening our doors to the public, and throughout the day to keep them clean, so we constantly need to replenish our cleaning supplies. If you can help please donate.
