Maria "Lani" Henry A daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend. Most importantly a survivor and a warrior. In 2012 she was diagnosed with two types of breast cancer. She underwent chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and radiation treatment. The cancer was thought to have been destroyed. She recently found out that the cancer has metastasized and she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer as well as a possibility of bone cancer. Maria and her wife Sandra are in the process of moving out of California in search of a better life. This diagnosis has dealt a pretty heavy blow on their plans but it will not stop them. Now more than ever they need to get to a place where they can live life to the fullest and enjoy their days instead of worrying about the cost of living and the challenges ahead.
