Every child deserves a chance to shine, with that thought in mind the Special Education Department of PS/IS 49 is happy to announce the FIRST EVER Spring Musical 2017... The Wizard of Oz, Young Performers’ Edition.
We have our actors standing stage right, left and center smiling from ear to ear and ready to SHINE, ready to "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" we will get Dorothy back to Kansas, the Lion courage, the Tin man a heart and the Scarecrow a brain but not without your help.
Unfortunately the school doesn't have a budget for this type of venue but they are our loyalist supporters. So in order to properly put together a project like this we will be asking for a little help from you. The funding we need will be for the rights to the show, the costumes, sets and everything else that goes into the making of our production. No amount is too small and any amount is appreciated.
